Copyright Policy
Last updated: June 19, 2026
1. You Must Own Your Uploads
You may only upload content you own outright or have an explicit, written license to distribute, stream, and monetize on RadioTunez. This covers compositions, master recordings, samples, stems, vocal performances, and cover art.
2. No Plagiarism
Copying, re-uploading, mislabeling, or claiming someone else's work as your own is strictly forbidden. This includes DJ mixes, mashups, and remixes built on third-party tracks without a clearance.
3. AI-Generated Content
AI tools may not be used to recreate copyrighted melodies, lyrics, or another artist's voice without their consent. AI-generated audio must be flagged as such at upload (see our AI Content Policy).
4. DMCA-Style Takedown Notices
Rights holders can report infringement by emailing dmca@radiotunez.com with:
- Identification of the copyrighted work.
- The URL of the infringing material on RadioTunez.
- Evidence of ownership or authority to act.
- Your contact information and a good-faith statement.
We process valid notices promptly and notify the uploader.
5. Counter-Notices
If your content was removed in error, send a counter-notice to dmca@radiotunez.com within 14 days. We will restore the content unless the original claimant files suit.
6. Repeat-Infringer Policy (Three Strikes)
- Strike 1: Warning + content removal.
- Strike 2: Temporary suspension (14 days) + monetization freeze.
- Strike 3: Permanent ban. Royalties and balances may be forfeited.
7. Audio Fingerprinting
RadioTunez may use automated content-matching to flag potentially infringing uploads for human review. Flagged uploads enter the moderation queue and may be held from publication while reviewed.
8. The Creator Agreement
Every uploader must accept the Creator Agreement before their first upload and confirm compliance on every subsequent submission. These records are timestamped and referenced in any moderation case.
